Events subcommittee

Update September 26, 2018: The application process has now closed. All applicants will hear from Sam Le in the upcoming weeks.

The purpose of the Event Subcommittee is to build a strong speciality coffee community in Canada through events. The committee member roles will be the connectors for host organizations to plan and execute SCA events. Events include but are not limited to:

  1. Barista Competition

  2. Brewer's Cup Competition

  3. Latte Art Competition

  4. Cup Tasters Competition

  5. Coffee in Good Spirit Competition

Length of term: 12 months


  • 1 monthly meeting of 1 hour and may increase in frequency leading up to events

  • 2 hours per week that is done outside of the monthly call (depending on the role)

  • Willingness to travel to events if applicable
